Lower back pain is very common, in fact, it’s one of the most common causes of pain in the body. You’re not alone if you’ve been feeling that twinge of pain. Back pain can be caused by everyday activities like bending awkwardly, carrying and/or lifting heavy objects incorrectly, standing or bending for long periods, and even over-stretching.

What are the symptoms of lower back pain?

The most common symptoms of lower back pain include soreness, stiffness, a decreased range of motion and the inability to stand up straight without pain. 

What causes lower back pain?

Lower back pain is a common issue that many of us face, but identifying the root cause can be challenging. Often, it's due to an injury like a sprain or strain, or issues with nerves or discs. If you're struggling with lower back pain, speak to our pharmacy team.

How to treat lower back pain?

Lower back pain often improves on its own within a few weeks. There are some things you can do to help speed up your recovery like staying active, taking anti-inflammatory medicine like ibuprofen, using ice and heat packs, doing exercises and stretches.
