Mouth ulcers

Mouth ulcers are sores inside the mouth, caused by a trauma such as biting the inside of your cheek or a stress trigger such as anxiety or hormonal changes. They can present anywhere on the gums, cheeks, or tongue. They are usually very painful and can cause discomfort when eating, drinking, and brushing your teeth.
