Wegovy is a brand of medicated injection that you administer yourself once a week. There is a hormone in your body called glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) that helps to regulate your hunger. It also cannot be used if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, and you must be aged 18 or over.
Please note that we cannot guarantee you will be suitable for treatment until you have your consultation with your pharmacist when Wegovy launches. Here, they will take into account your past medical history.
