Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best injection for weight loss?

The best weight loss injection for you depends on your circumstances. You and your pharmacist will discuss the treatment options in detail to allow you to come to a confident conclusion.

Both Mounjaro and Wegovy offer effective weight loss potential and are available as a prescription if your BMI is:

  • 30 kg/m2 or more (obese)
  • 27 kg/m2 or more (overweight) and you also have a weight-related medical condition, such as prediabetes or high blood pressure (hypertension)

Are weight loss injections safe?

Yes, our weight loss injections have been tested to ensure their safety. During our initial consultation, you’ll receive professional advice and guidance to ensure that your pharmacist has all the information they need to provide the correct treatment and that you are confident enough to begin treatment.

All the information you need to follow during your treatment is available on our website, and your pharmacist is always on hand to offer support. Plus, with regular check-ins, your pharmacist will be able to monitor your progress to ensure the treatment is working as it should, and you can report any side effects that you may be experiencing.

Do weight loss injections work?

Yes, Mounjaro and Wegovy are both proven effective weight-loss treatments.

  • 96% of patients using Mounjaro have successfully shed at least 5% of their body weight, surpassing those who relied solely on diet and exercise. [1]
  • In a 68-week study involving 1,961 adults struggling with obesity or related health issues, participants lost about 15% of their weight with Wegovy. [2]

How do weight loss injections work?

Our weekly weight-loss injections are self-administered into your thigh, upper arm, or abdomen. By targeting specific receptors in the brain, our weight-loss injections help you feel fuller for longer and reduce cravings. They do not dissolve body fat.

Combining your weight loss injection with a balanced diet and regular exercise, you will see long-term results and reach your health goals.
